Spirit of San Juan Awards 2026

The annual Spirit of San Juan awards honor individuals and groups within our school communities who exhibit exceptional character, remove barriers and provide an inclusive environment for all. San Juan Unified alumna and Good Day Sacramento's Tina Macuha will emcee the event. We invite you to join us in celebrating our four honorees and all those nominated.

This year's honorees are:

• Ojehi Benito-Oserogho - Student, Encina High School
• Nia Blunt - Student, Mesa Verde High School
• Kim Minugh - Teacher, Encina High School
• San Juan High School Ambassador Program - Student Leadership Group, San Juan High School

A reception will precede the event at 5:30 p.m. outside the El Camino Fundamental High School's Center for the Arts. Doors will open at 5:55 p.m. and the awards ceremony will begin at 6:05 p.m. Please RSVP below.
