Spirit of San Juan Awards 2025

The annual Spirit of San Juan awards honor individuals and groups within our school communities who exhibit exceptional character, remove barriers and provide an inclusive environment for all. San Juan Unified alumna and Good Day Sacramento's Tina Macuha will emcee the event. We invite you to join us in celebrating our six honorees and all those nominated.

• Sonia Botello - School/Community Worker, Dyer-Kelly Elementary School
• Kristi Char - Teacher, Mira Loma High School
• Sara Opeyany - Teacher, Lichen K-8
• Anna Stellmacher - Student, Rio Americano High School
• Baryalai Talash - Instructional Assistant, Mira Loma High School

A reception will precede the event at 5:30 p.m. outside the San Juan High School's Theatre. Doors will open at 5:55 p.m. and the awards ceremony will begin at 6:05 p.m. Please RSVP below.
